Hello! I will be flying to Ho Chi Min for the holidays and while there, I would love to visit some vintage shops in HCM. If someone could please direct me to some mouth watering shops, it would be greatly appreciated( but, I think my wallet and wife would not be...). Thank you all for your help in this endeavor.
Here you are ! You can ask the Bellman of The hotel where you are staying to take a Mai Linh Taxi and give him bellow info : Khoa Audio Address : 39 Chợ đệm ,Bình Chánh ,HCM Hand phone : (+84) 0902.62.62.62 Enjoy!!!
Ahhh Maggies!! would definitely visit here. I have been wanting to hear Maggies. Another speaker set I would to audition are speakers from Goldenear.
Sorry for the late replay, I did attempt to check out one but, it led to a dead end. The address was non existent. The other address, was a wild goose chase, without ever finding the place. It was interesting, there were more then one same address, but the only difference was the district(?). So I finally gave up the search because of time constraint. It would be awesome if we had a section here that would have list of every body's favorite stereo shop hangout in their respective cities/towns. Mine was echo audio https://echohifi.com. This is located in Portland, Oregon and I often visit this place to purchase my audio needs. Really nice place and Kurt the owner is a great guy. And his prices are great for used and vintage components.
Cool, and thanks for ur recommended shop. Portland is a nice green city that I love very much. Also a great deal of Vietnamese residents thereat. Sorry that ur treasure quest experienced no luck. Drop me a pm if you happen to see yourself in Hanoi where I can surely help you.
Thank you Trau, I definitely will contact you when I land in Hanoi. I had a Vietnamese neighbor back home. They were a quiet family and the only sign of activity with them was during the Tet holidays.
