The SID comes in two versions - model 14 for Philips and Sony Transports and model 15 for certain top loaders and players with Pioneer stable Platter and Meridian 506+508 Why model 14 & 15? There is a very good reason why the SID comes in two versions. The model 14 is made for CD players with Philips and Sony type transports. These transports have a spindle 15 mm diameter with a cone so that when the CD is on the spindle it takes up 1.2 mm in height (see sketch), thus reducing the diameter on top of the CD to 14 mm diameter. The SID sits on top of the CD and fits exactly to the 14 mm diameter so as to run concentric with the CD. All other products on the market have a 15 mm hole which allows them run excentric which shakes the whole mechanism. The model 15 is made for CD players which have a Pioneer transport where the CD is placed label side down on the turntable. This spindle has a longer parallel part and the SID must first be placed on the spindle - 15 mm diameter matt side up, then the CD on top. Re: SID - Sound Improvement Disc Em đang xài và mỗi lúc nghe lại nhét ẻm vô và kô muốn bỏ ra nghe CD riêng bác ạ, nó nâng đầu CD bác lên từ chất âm kiểu Teac7 sang Teac 25xs hay Denon 1656 AZ sang Denon S10III bác ạ :lol: . Nếu cdp của bác mới bác nghe với SACD và cdp cd thường + SID không khác nhau là mấy. Bác lăn tăn về dây nhợ thì khỏi cần, SID làm được hết. Tiếng sạch, bass gọn, chi tiết tách bạch cho từng nhạc cụ. Có 1 nhược điểm duy nhất là lúc nào bác cũng phải để ẻm bên cạnh để nhét cùng cd khi nghe ạ, không nghe cd không thì chán hơn :lol: .

Thừong sự khác biệt bác nhận ra trong vòng 7 nốt nhạc (7 giây) . Re: SID - Sound Improvement Disc - AUDIO DISC ENHANCEMENT MAT Dạ rất ấn tượng cái Millenium bác thientoan đang chơi, theo em được biết có cái thuốc tăng lực hai mặt xuất 2 âm, 1 bán dẫn, 1 đèn :lol: , cái mặt xuất âm đèn thì theo kiểu nâng dây loa từ Van Den Hul lên Purist Maseus, các bác khỏi lăn tăn nhiều về dây loa :lol: . 1 điều kiện cần để chơi SID hay FIM là dây nguồn của cả cdp và amp phải tốt mới phát huy được ạ, kô thì SID với FIM phí lắm nếu dây nguồn bé = ngón tay út, sx ở TQ có mỗi nhiệm vụ cấp điện.

Có lẽ tăng thêm 1.5gam với SID sẽ khiến motor của CDP quay "hợp lý" hơn --> dữ liệu trên đĩa được đọc tốt hơn --> ... Có khi nào cái SID sẽ "che chắn" tia laser hợp lý --> không bị xuyên qua mặt đĩa :lol: ... snake oil!!!!!!!! Thật thất vọng (hồi đó tới giờ hổng biết nó có bán cái này) khi hãng thu âm nổi tiếng như FIM (luôn đảm bảo chất lượng phôi và qui trình ghi có hệ số lỗi sector thấp dưới con số 20 so với chuẩn iso là 200) mà lại đi "bán/bảo kê" những thứ snake oil như thế này :roll: He he "phạt" hãng FIM này và hứa với lòng là trong 6 tháng không mua bất kỳ cái đĩa nào của nó!!!
