Đồ độc vẫn còn Bác à:
Các Bác nào thích kèn gỗ thì ngâm cứu thử đôi loa nầy xem có học hỏi được điều gì không?

Do you know about Oswald Mill Audio? Check out the website; it's fascinating.

Truth is: I'm not really into exotic loudspeakers.

I like my loudspeakers to look like loudspeakers. To me, a simple wood box is beautiful. But I was more than impressed by the extraordinary Oswald Mill Audio AC1. Completely hand-built out of solid Pennsylvania ash, it takes about a month to complete a single pair of AC1s. Each speaker uses a single 15" Alnico paper-cone woofer and a vintage compression driver for the midrange. Due to the finite quantity of the specific late '40s to early '60s driver, production of the AC1 is limited to just 25 pairs.

Designer Jonathan Weiss asked me if there was anything in specific that I'd like to listen to.

"Any rock and roll?" I asked.

Jonathan looked down to his stack of LPs, took a long pause, and soberly replied: "Not much."

    "Oh well. How about…"

"Actually, I've got Prince. Wanna hear Prince?"

    "Cool."

Prince's "Darling Nicky" sounded just as it should: Naughty! This was a speaker that managed to remove itself from the room despite its towering size and attention-grabbing looks. When Weiss informed me of the price of $53,000/pair, it almost seemed like a bargain.

    Crazy, I know.

Jonathan Weiss hopes to open an Oswald Mill Audio showroom in New York City by the end of the year. I cannot wait to hear these speakers again.

Xu thế thời thượng chăng: ampli hibrid
mở đầu bằng bóng đèn, công suất bằng SS

The newest iteration of the Moscode hybrid power amp ($6495) retains the hefty aluminum faceplate which opens forward for easy access to the tubes.

Mâm dĩa than nầy nhìn hình thứ thì bình thường, nhưng giá không bình thường chút nào.

Allen Perkins and Immedia put together another great-sounding room.

Ah, the Spiral Groove SG1 turntable. Look at it. You love it. But it costs $25,000. Ouch. Oh, but you love it.

The Spiral Groove SG1 turntable looks totally bad-ass and has a removable armboard for easy swapping of tonearms. It made sweet, sweet music with the Lehmannaudio Black Cube Decade phono preamp ($2399; Michael Fremer's review will appear in our December 2008 issue), Spiral Groove's own Equinox series amplification (price TBA), and Sonics by Joachim Gerhard Amerigo loudspeakers in a handsome Zebrano finish ($5500/pair).

Cô Đại hàn nầy nói: " cơ, giải mã giá bèo như vầy không mua ngay, đi đâu lanh quanh cho đời mõi mệt! "

I think this year's Rocky Mountain Audio Fest was larger than anyone anticipated. The show was spread out across two locations, elevators were consistently packed, and rooms were often buzzing with people. April Music's Christine Han had wanted to reserve a room for her company, but missed the deadline.

So she improvised, setting up a demo system in her own little suite. (I am not sure if this was legal. Christine, I hope I don't get you in trouble.)

I sat on Christine's bed (she sat in the lounge chair!) and listened to a very fine, little system made up of Stello's entry-level CDT100 transport ($795) and DA100 DAC ($895), along with Aura's Note one-box solution ($2350) serving as amplification and Aura's Model 1 loudspeakers ($650/pair).

This relatively modest system produced a detailed, involving sound. I could have stayed much longer, but I started to feel a little weird about the whole situation.

    (Just kidding, Christine!)

Nếu không nhìn thấy cái loa treble phía trên, đố ai đoán được nó là cái gì mà giá đến $60.000.

When I ran into Tyler Beebout and Jackson Paddon, they were all wide-eyed and jittery.

"Have you seen those alien speakers yet? You have to check them out! After listening to them, I feel like I've spoiled myself for the rest of my life. I don't know what to do now."

Shit, I hadn't seen the alien speakers yet. They were talking about ViV Laboratory's exotic Evanui Signature single-driver horn-loaded loudspeaker ($60,000/pair).

"Wow," I said. "It kind of looks like a flower."

"No, E.T.!" exclaimed the Evanui's designer, Koichiro Akimoto.

The strange creature stands over four feet tall and extends nearly two feet wide at its base. The 3" "Floating Diaphragm Mechanism" drive unit has no surround, and nearly floats freely from the speaker itself. Akimoto demonstrated this for me by simply pulling the driver from its place, like pulling an eye right from it's socket.

"Evanui," says Akimoto, means "vanish" in Latin, and the design goal was for the speaker to vanish from the room, leaving nothing but music.

Mấy chai sữa đậu nành màu xanh nầy có tác dụng trong việc setup âm thanh đấy nhé! Mình có bắt chước, không thành thì mang ra cho con uống, chẳng đi đường nào.

In one huge room at Hyatt, I encountered a truly international effort. While some parts of this system are available in the US, others are not. Hence the prices in Euros.

You know something is right when you play Mahler's Symphony No.2 through 50W Mastersound Finals 845 SET monoblocks (10,000 Euros) and not very large Kaiser Kawero 92dB-sensitive speakers ($50,000/pair) and experience an image of tremendous size and weight that effortlessly captures the essence of the symphonic experience. Much credit also goes to LessLoss products from Lithuania: the LessLoss Dynamic Filtering power cable ($750), Firewall ($4995), DAC 2004 MkII (2995 Euros) with volume control (495 Euros) slaved to a CEC TL-SAX transport. Let's not leave out the Echole Obsession RCA interconnect (3000 Euros/meter), Obsession speaker cable (5500 Euros/2 meter), and powercord (2500 Euros). For lovers of what I consider a classic SET sound, this system may very well inspire ecstasy.

$192,000 cho cặp loa Acapella Triolon Excalibur . để xem coi còn cặp nào giá cao hơn nữa không.

These $192,000 (!) Acapella Triolon Excalibur speakers sounded very alive and dynamic, but were also identifiably horn like. They did look cool (or goofy, depending on your tastes).

Nhìn hình thức chẳng giống loa gì cả! không biết hát hò ra sao đây.

If the Triolons were not goofy enough for you, these sure will be. These Golden Acoustics room treatments were in the same room as the Triolons. They are calculated and built for your specific room.

Loa của chú gà trống chăng? giá êm hơn 1 chút: $180.000

Could be. I saved my visit to the Audio Unlimited room almost for last on Sunday afternoon at RMAF. There was the pair of Focal Grande Utopia EMs that apparently had NY retailer Andy Singer dancing at their launch in France last spring. driven by a pair of Boulder 2050 monoblocks. Front-end was either Boulder's new 1021 disc player/music server or the Clearaudio Statement turntable. Cabling was all Tara Labs, including Mikey Fremer's reference The Zero interconnects. Musical Surroundings' Garth Leerer played me just two LPs for me to become awed by the 580 lb Focals: the Gary Karr transcription for double bass and organ of the Albinoni Adagio, which showed how effortlessly the speakers handled not just the spl but also the scale of the organ's sound, and Iona Brown's performance of Vaughan Williams' A Lark Ascending, which showed how well the speakers did delicacy.

A hand crank on the speaker's rear adjusts the vertical toe-in angle of the drive-unit array, and multiple adjustments can be made to the crossover to match the speaker to the room in which it is used. But check out the small power supply to the speaker'sleft—this supplies current to the field coils of the woofer's magnet. Yes, the Grand Utopia EM's 16" woofer uses an electromagnet to achieve its 94dB sensitivity.

Oh, the price, you ask? $180,000, but you do get two speakers for that.

Clear Audio làm mâm coi hoành tráng phết

And how! Spinning the vinyl in the room shared by Musical Surroundings, Boulder, and Focal was the 770 lb Clearaudio Statement turntable with its integral stand. Omigawd! Magnetic bearings, a magnetically driven subplatter, an 80kg pendulum counterweight, an automatic horizontal leveling device including the tonearm platforms...

Máy băng cối chạy phe phé !

Luxman and Vivid distributor Philip O'Hanlon, of On A Higher Note, always has a great selection of music at Shows, and RMAF was no exception. With a system based on Vivid B1 stand-mounted speakers ($13,500/pair) driven by a Luxman 30Wpc class-A integrated amplifier via Synergistic Research cables, the sound of an open-reel dub of a Reference Recordings Malcolm Arnold orchestral piece was distinguished by an enormous, stable soundstage, and excellent dynamics, with superb resolution of low-level orchestral detail. But I just can't get used to the speaker's alien-pod appearance.
